This is a small studio site. It is written to be readable rather than defensible, and the short version is: the only personal information collected is what you type into a form and send on purpose.
What this site does not do
- No analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts of any kind.
- No third-party social media SDKs embedded in the pages.
- No cookies set by this site.
- No data sold, rented or shared with advertisers. Ever.
All fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images are served from this domain, so simply loading a page does not tell any third party that you were here.
What is collected
Contact and commission enquiries. When you send the contact form, the details you enter — name, email address, optional phone number, subject and message — reach the studio inbox. They are used to answer you and to keep a record of the commission, and for nothing else.
Newsletter subscriptions. Only your email address, used only to send occasional notices about new work. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.
Orders. Name, shipping address and contact details, kept for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires. Payment is taken through a third-party payment provider — card numbers never touch this site and are never seen by the studio.
Local storage in your browser
Three small pieces of information are kept in your own browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are never transmitted, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
pp.cart.v1 | The contents of your cart, so it survives a page reload |
pp.announcement.hidden | Remembers that you closed the announcement bar |
pp.lastSubmission | Lets the thank-you page greet you by name after a form is sent |
These are not cookies and are not readable by any other website.
How long things are kept
- Enquiries: two years, then deleted.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Order records: seven years, as required for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of anything held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — subject only to records that must legally be retained. Write to [email protected] and expect a reply within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EU, these rights come from the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR respectively, and you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you comparable rights.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the previous version is available on request.
